My wife wanted one of the new Filcao yellow resin Leaders, which looks
like the Parker Big Red/Mandarin. I bought her one from RIchard
Binder and the pen is wonderful. The nib is stiff but very very
smooth.

So I emailed Richard to buy one for myself, but in red resin. He was
out. So I looked around and bought one from Dennis at Parkvillepens.
This pen too is wonderful. The yellow one is a tad smoother, but then
Richard personally tunes each pen he sells. That is no knock against
Parkeville or anyone else. The red resin leader wrote perfectly and
smoothly.

In short, I can say the new button filler resin Leaders will please
most people. They go for about one hundred or so.

how you would describe the weight of these pens. The Big Red is one of the
few pens remaining on my wishlist but I am a bit concerned about weight. I
prefer light pens like the M200/400 from Pelikan.
