Default Fantasy Sports Autographs? (OT? I'm not sure)

OK Here is a strange question. I'm big into fantasy sports, and have a
small autograph collection.

I'm just curious....has anyone tried to collect all the autographs from the
real players, of their Fantasy Sports teams? (Odd question, I realize) But
I think that would be so nice! Most of the autographs I've collected are of
musicians or actors...haven't done much in the sports realm....but....just
curious....any thoughts?

Rick, in 1994, I won my Fantasy Baseball League. In 95, I thought it would be
cool to collect signed trading cards of everyone on my team, and somehow
display it with my League Championship certificate. Of the 23 players, 4
refused to sign cards. After trying for a couple of more years, I gave up. I
didn't even try with fantasy basketball, because there was no way I was wasting
a card on getting people like Shaq, Jordan, or Kobe. Also, alot of NBA guys
are just complete asses about signing anyway. Good Luck!

Rick:
I don't think it's an odd question at all. I've run a fantasy football
league for 24 years. I have collected trading cards of all the players I've
had on my team with the exception of a dozen or so who either never had a
card or had one so obscure I'll never track it down. For those guys I've
tried to collect an autograph and I've had moderate success, sending out
requests to the 7 or so whose addresses I've managed to find and receiving 4
of those back. Once or twice a month I'll waste and hour or two drilling
down through Google searches trying to uncover an addy for Randy Burke or
Elton Veals (grin).

Good luck if you try to give it a go.
