Default Realistic TR-882 vs. TR-801 vs. TR-803

Just got an 882 last weekend at a flea mart. Had a melted belt and
squeaky DC motor. Robbed a belt from another deck, and a shot of WD40
under the motor pulley, VAROOM, it's running smoothly and quietly.
Someone here told me these sounded great, but looked cheapie. So true.

BTW, this 882 is much better than an 803, and marginally better than
an 801. I've tried all 3. The 801 had more hiss and wow/flutter. The
803 was, well, junk. Which is why they were sold.

Any 882 users/fans out there ??
