Ooops....

I have not been able to log on for a week or so, as
I am so busy.... My Father died on 18th. April from
a heart attack, and I have taken charge of everything.

I'll be around when I can, after things have settled
down a little. My Mother is 84 today, and I am her
only Son - trying to keep the pressure off her as much
as I can!

I got married on the 7th.
Father died on the 18th.
A friend had a car crash on the 22nd.
Mother's birthday on the 25th.

Let's cancel April and start again!

My condolences are with you.

My dad passed away in January 2006. My Mom is one of 2 left above me
in the family chain. Plenty of cousins, nephews, nieces and all that
- but...

Try to spend some time with her. She'll need it.

I have stayed with her for both weekends, and 3 evenings during the week.
Trisha, (now 'The Wife') has visited every day with shopping/food etc.
whenever I can't make it.

The Funeral is on Wednesday morning, and I have booked 3 days off
work, so I will be 'home' from Wednesday through the May Day holiday
until Tuesday May 8th.

I think things are going smoothly, so far. With time and patience we'll be OK.
