You are not a friend of the coin collecting community. I've played bass and guitar for close to 40 years. Using any coin, modfied or not, is much too heavy and thick to be useful. Cutting up a "Call to activate your new FREE credit card" make better picks, right, F#m7? :-) Jerry "I'm singin' the greens..." |

I think Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top would strongly disagree. http://www.pesopicks.com/ Brian May (of Queen) is another coin user. I don't use coins, but I have a couple of metal picks...one of them was cut from a Zildjian cymbal. They work just fine, and I love flipping that Zildjian pick as if it were a coin. It just rings out. Come to think of it, I -have- used coins; I flattened them on the railroad tracks for that express purpose. |
