Pleasant Surprise
I bought a Cross Century II Royal Blue Fountain pen for $47.50. It
has a stainless steel nib. It writes as well as my Parker Sonnet or other numerous pens I have. Just can't judge a pen by its price. Don |

Don Agreed. In fact my best writers are my Sheaffer Triumph Imperials. I have 3 and none has ever skipped, clogged, or dried out after sitting, even for several weeks. Great nibs, too (one fine, two medium). I use the "squeeze" converter on all of them. Almost without exception, I have had some sort of ink flow problem with every other pen I've bought, including my Sonnet. Some of these have been sorted out over the years. Most just get put aside while I write with my Sheaffers. Regards, DAve |
