Default Herbie Mann Q8: $5

This was a good album and marked Mann's departure from more serious
jazz idioms to "crossover" and R&B laced attempts. This album has him
teaming up with Duane Allman on the title track. I have it on vinyl,
and if you like Mann or "crossover" jazz and are into Q8, this one's a
big bargain at this price.

DB

I also happen to like Herbie Mann's music in my own right. He was one of
the greatest flute players in the history of music.I also happen to
have three 8-Tracks by him in my collection. They are as follows:

Waterbed(in the slide slipcase where you can slide the cart out either
end and it is a pink colored shell)

Sunbelt

Brazil-Once Again

I also happen to have this album on vinyl:

Hold On I'm Comin'(In MINT condition with original Atlantic Records
address on the label, which was 1841 Broadway NY NY)

And this single:

Hijack/The Orient Express(in an original Atlantic sleeve in MINT
condition)

I just thought that I would share.I am also glad that there is another
Herbie Mann fan in this forum. Thanks for sharing this.Sincerely Frank
