Rock-Ola 1468 not selecting record
My juke box has been sitting for months now and all of a sudden when I select a song it throws the little tab out on the carousel, but the part that goes around will not stop on the number. The turn table turns just fine and the part that is suppose to select the correct tab goes around but never stops at the tab that is out... What am I missing here. Need help desperately.
Thanks Steve |

Rock-Ola 1468 not selecting record
Hi Steve
I think the 1468 is going to be very close to a 1438/46. I am looking at the 1438 manual and the carriage assembly is what I think you are referring to. You need to check the bottom of the carriage assembly and look at the contact blocks. Once a selection is made and the little lever on the coil bank flips outward into its path the carriage assembly should make contact with it and should stop the magazine rotation at the selection you made. This is a critical function and from what you are describing this is where I would start. Hope this helps. |
