Default Plate blocks

I've recently come into a small (30-40 blocks) collection of USA MNH
plate blocks from the late 50s and early 60s. What should I do with
them?

a) use them for postage;
b) sneak them into a stamp show and "accidentally" leave them on a
random dealer's table;
c) burn them;
d) other

?

Note that "sell them on eBay is not an option.

(d) other.

Sneak them, sureptitiously into a glassine envelope
place them, with backing card into a cover
On the cover, write my address
then, late at night when there is a full moon
sneak out and mail them.

Boy! I bet I will be shocked.

Default Plate blocks

Steve,

Why not sell them for a percentage of the face value?
What is the total face value anyway?

Greetings Rein:

At that time, the maximum first class rate stamp was 5c.
So 4 stamps x 40 blocks x 5c = $8.00 .
If the owner is in the USA, it is better to use them for
postage than sell them at 70% of face value.

Had it been in Europe, I wouldn't mind buying a lot like that for 8-10
euro;
Alas, the cost of money transfer outside Europe would exceed that amount
by far
