OT World Cup
OK, this is a personal pet peeve of mine, both linguistically and
historically. It is HOCKEY, not Ice Hockey. The differentiation is made with Field Hockey. It is SKIING, not Snow Skiing. The differentiation is made with Water Skiing. An ATM is an Automatic Teller Machine, not an ATM machine, which would be redundant. Jud -Chairman of the Department of Redundancy Department- (To be correct, soccer really is Football, not to be confused with American Football)
