Default Storing books outside the house

Hello
Was wondering if anyone has any experiance in storing books outside in
garage or shed?
Have too many in the house and was wondering what would be the best
way to store them so they didn't get mildew..Was thinking a plastic
trash bag inside of a rubber maid tote?
I have brought books stored in unheated storage units and they didn't
have no problems and they just were in cardboard boxes..but don't know
how long..I had a house before with a damp basement and stored books
down there off the floor,on a shelf in cardboard boxes and they got
ruined..just wondering if anyone else ran out of room and what did you
do..
TIA

To recap. You advise the OP to not burn the books if they are "totallly
worthless" -- if they are trash, keep them. And if they are not totally
worthless - they have value - "might as well burn them." Remarkable stupid
advice.

I don't think they are ever worthless
Have used some for heating last year but the ash is too light
wouldn't recommand burning in the house but if you had an outdoor
heater...

You need to go straight to hell......unless you aren't already there.

You're not very good at this syntax stuff squire. First you trip over
yourself and end up telling the guy to burn his valuable books and not burn
his trash books. Now you're telling me to go to hell, unless I'm "not
already there." According to which, since I'm not already in hell, I should
not go to hell. Once again, remarkably stupid.

You need to go back to school and learn proper syntax yourself......unless
you haven't already learned it.

Perhaps you meant "....unless you've already learned it"?

Both of you.

Go to your rooms. Or get a room.

Really, your posts need to be subjected to a sin tax.
