Looking for Arcs and Proofs of Forthcoming Science Fiction
Hi All,
Are there dealers who specialize in ARCs and Proofs? I'm only interested in forthcoming (2004 titles) science fiction. Thanks, Ned |

Again, apologies to the group for having to post on this topic again,
ABE bookseller Chris Barker seems to want to burst into every book discussion site on the internet and make these accusations about me to anyone he thinks might listen, so I have to reply... Chris "Flatsigned" Barker of The Haunted River wrote: But when they get hold of the actual evidence they *will* in a position to reprimand you. Well, you can but hope! You oppose public discussion of your custimer service On the contrary, I'm quite willing to discuss customer service e.g. when The Haunted River customer bought your very expensive "signed" M.R. James book and then queried the "signature". You've admitted that already, several times. In your own words: "Chris Barker" wrote in message ... I will happily discuss this privately with the person who bought the book. Indeed, I did so two years ago. They certainly did not ask for a refund after we discussed this very matter. To which I replied: Thank you for that information. I'm interested to learn that you were able to pacify your Haunted River customer and convince her that the signature, in Mr. Dalby's opinion, "could be his." Chris "Flatsigned" Barker again: Don't get forget to ask Santa for a life this Christmas. Funny, I, and I suspect others in this newsgroup, were just about to recommend the same thing to you. Do you really have nothing better to do? DJA |

Barry Levin (www.raresf.com), LW Currey and David Aronovitz are perhaps the
biggest, although proofs are not their main focus. www.abebooks.com is the best source, followed by Ebay. I'm a collector of SF proofs myself. Are you a collector, and/or do you just want to read stuff before anyone else? ---Mike http://www.booktouronline.com "Ned O'Tennis" wrote in message om... I list a few, but don't think I have any SCi Fi or 2004. Earl
