Default A Few Thoughts

Ok, guys. I'm going to have a pretty risky spine surgery tomorrow. I've
got a ruptured disk and a bone spur sticking into my spinal cord. I'm
pretty sure everythings going to work out just fine, I've done my homework,
weighed the risk and decided it's a risk I need to take or become really bad
later on.
Anyway, enough of that, I'd like to see everyone here get along. You
know, someone could burn down my house and shoot my dogs but I couldn't hold
a grudge more than ten minutes (well maybe a little more), that's just the
way I am. Arguing about something as petty as an 8-track tape is just
rediculous. I mean, really. I don't know how this whole war started on
ac8tt, but I'd like to see it put to an end. Life is too short for these
petty things.
I propose a truce. Let's all talk about 8-tracks for the better, and
promote the hobby as a hobby of peacefulness. When I think of 8-tracks, I
think of rolling a big fatty (nowadays that would be a burrito) and popping
in my favorite cart and not having to worry about anything but the splice
breaking. That's how the hobby should be, in other words, grooovy man.
I don't wanna come out looking like a sissy who doesn't want to fight, if I
do, that's okay.
Let's all get along and put this crap behind us.
