Default PRICE CHECK: Wurlitzer 2200

I'm looking at a 1958 Wurlitzer 2200 in nice cosmetic but non-working
condition. Anybody got a ballpark idea what one of these is worth,
either as-is or repaired and working 100%?

It's the invasion of the pinball people in a.c.j-b! My price list
is a few years old, but it says $2000 for a primo one from a dealer,
$900 for a good, complete, as-is one that may need attention (amp
re-capping, etc.), down to $500 or less for one that has been stored
in a garage and may have critters living in it. A parts machine
(i.e. already missing some stuff, or water damaged cab, etc.) is
about $100. It's sort of an odd-looking duck for a Wurlitzer, not
that much in demand...the 2100 is much more collectible!

Yes, I dabble in the musical side of coin-op from time to time ;-)
Thanks for the info Bob. I believe this one is complete, nice but not
working 100% and will be in the $300 range. I'll go see it tomorrow.

Well, I checked this beast out and I'll have to pass. It has a 2x3x3"
triangle of glass broken and missing at the front point of the right
side glass. Otherwise in pretty nice cosmetic shape. Owner states it
would play all the records in the drum in sequence if you pushed one up
to start it. The amp fades to no sound after about an hour. Seems to be
complete. He wanted $350. It's in Denver.
