Roid Boys & Card Values

Now that MLB will sorta crack down on steroid use, how will - and
should - that affect the value of "certain players'" cards? I think
anyone who would just look at picture comparisons of Mark McGwire,
Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa and others when they started their careers
with pictures when they hit massive numbers of home runs in a season,
they would see drasticly different human beings. That change in size
didn't come from eating their veggies and working out in the gym. Now
MLB is finally starting to do something about this. If people toss out
their personal bias and player favoritism, it's easy to see that
players have been taking steroids and human growth hormones for years
now. Card values have been inflated for some time now for players with
big power numbers. Maybe now this will stop. Want to take a look at a
player - last injury plagued season aside - who has dominated the
majors over the last 5 years, look at Randy Johnson. You could also
call him Twig Boy. There's no chance he's been playing the way he has
been because of steroids and human growth hormones. Too bad there
probably won't be an asterisk in MLB official record for the 'Roid
Boys. Too bad there won't be one next to their card prices in Beckett
either.
