Default software question

Hello all,

I've been using the freeware provided by Abe.com (home base) for some time
and I think I'm finally outgrowing it. Or at least I'm sick of it. I have a
small inventory of books for sale it hovers around 3,000 and I aspire to
5,000 at most and 10,000 as an occasional passing thought. I want to keep
this bookstore a sideline/hobby for now. ... my question is this. What other
inventory programs are out there, especially ones that will handle my
accounting, tax stuff etc, in one package. I'm looking for something cheap.
I've looked at some of the accounting programs and they're all aimed at
people with larger businesses than I ever want to deal with and the free
stuff is free for a reason. ... but I don't know what else is out there.
What do the rest of you (the dealers out there) use to manage your
inventory? and other business stuff? Is there anything especially for book
dealers, especially us small guys, that's particularly good and cheap?

Mark.

If you visit the eBay discussion forum, there was a topic a few days ago
with several good recommendations... Hope it helps!
