Society of Paper Money Collectors
Announces Austin Sheheen as Featured Speaker at Society's Regional
Meeting to be Held in Conjunction with Upcoming Blue Ridge Numismatic
Convention to be Held July 28-30, 2006 at the Northwest GA Convention
Center.

Winston-Salem, N.C. July 3, 2006...Judith Murphy, Regional Meeting
Coordinator and Governor of the Society of Paper Money Collectors today
announced that the Society of Paper Money Collectors, Inc. will hold a
regional meeting in conjunction with the upcoming Blue Ridge Numismatic
Association annual convention, to be held July 29, 2006, at the
[facility], in Dalton, Georgia. The meeting, to be held at 2:00 p.m.,
will feature noted numismatic authority Mr. Austin M. Sheheen, speaking
on the topic of "Counterfeiting Currency in the 19th. and 20th.
Century".

Commenting on the announcement, Ms. Murphy stated, "Austin Sheheen is
well known to the entire numismatic community as a distinguished author
and a prolific collector of the paper money of South Carolina. He has
also been recognized as a Numismatic Ambassador by Krause/F & W
Publications, and among other evidences of his leadership in the hobby,
is a past President of the Society of Paper Money Collectors, Inc. It
is therefore with pride and anticipation that we look forward to his
upcoming talk on subject matter.

The event is free of charge to members and non-members alike.
