BHG Story Book (Help With Editions?)

Sorry for the attachments! Just trying to give as much info as I had. Did
not know this was not proper newsgroup form. Apologies.


I'm trying to sort thru the several editions of this book before buying. I
want to make sure I'm paying a fair price for what I'm actually getting.

1. White cover, Copyright Meredith Corporation, 1950,
1970...SBN: 696-00030-X

2. Yellow cover, Copyright Meredith Corporation, 1950-some
include Sambo some don't?

3. Colorful cover, Copyright Meredith Corporation,
1950-includes Sambo and Uncle Remus Initiates the Little Boy.

Is only the yellow cover a first edition, and only some of those? The
colorful cover is particularly confusing. I thought that was the dust
jacket of the yellow at first, but it appears to be the actual glossy cover.
I know some editions include/exclude some stories (Sambo, Uncle Remus etc.)
Any info you can provide, as well as if anyone has copies for sale would be
helpful. Thanks!
