how critical is it, that resistors of 1 megohm value markings, measure
that value

I have an old R2R set that all the resistors measure OK in, except for
(2) of the 1M-ohm values

can a small Fluke digital multimeter measure that high a resistance
accurately, with the 9v battery inside ?

LMAO!!!!! You don't even KNOW how the circuitry works, so how would
you even have a CLUE as to how important tolerances are? Besides,
IDIOT, you cannot measure a resistor in circuit unless you know
Kirchoff's Law as well if there are other resistive elements
there...and if there's an active device or a capacitance in there,
forget it.

As to the stupid comment about the DVM, it's obvious the equipment you
already have is too good for your use. I'm not going to clue you in
as to DVM accuracy, because you wouldn't know what it means anyway.
