Since we are playing Webster today, let's define some of the terms
from some of your posts, shall we? As they apply to you, of course,
who in reality lives on-site in a junkyard as a parts monkey for a
fat, unshaven cigar-chomping asshole employer.

"Advertising" - Annoying the hell out of thousands of people in
unrelated newsgroups with ads for junk whose usage defies even the
most optimistic speculation. Spam is just a lunch meat.

"Moderated" - Any newsgroup where 80% of the members have learned
how to use a kill file since you posted your lunch meat.

"Gated" - An 18-foot slider made of dented corrugated aluminum and
peeling dime-store whitewash, emblazoned with ghetto tags surrounding
a hand-painted warning against blocking the driveway.

"Resort" - Any occupancy larger than 80 square feet with actual
indoor plumbing that leaks 5 gallons or less a day into a stagnant
recreational pond for West Nile buzz-bombers. In your case, a
bullet-ridden 1948 Airstream that's been resting on rusted 1956 DeSoto
wheels since the Year of our Lord 1964.

"Community" - Hundreds of piled-up junkers that smile at you
through fractured headlights and twisted grilles and whisper
encouragement as you take a leak on the Cadillac bench seat that some
customer already put a deposit on.

"24-hour Armed Guard" - The rat-bitten mutt whose disdain for life
comes from the habitual halitosis and sinus-searing flatulence he gets
from eating your leftovers.

"Active Online Business" - Your butt seated on a sweatsoaked
foam-and-vinyl apparition perched on broken cinder blocks that used to
pass as a Nova bucket seat, hunched over a clanking 486 running DOS
fished out of the trunk of an abandoned Chevette, trying to figure out
which fake ID to spam another hundred groups with before you nod out
from the last pipe blast and bounce your lice-alive head off the
grease-covered keyboard that's missing the caps key.

"Friends" - The industrial-strength cockroaches that play soccer
with the dried-up snot balls littering the threadbare carpet beneath
the fungus-slathered appendages that you call feet.

"Laughing" - The snorting, cud-spraying display your boss bellows
forth whenever you start your pigeon-toed shuffling and sorry-sheep
whining about getting a pay bump to minimum wage, thus sending you
back to your Active Online Business (see above) to find a sucker to
buy parts that a HazMat crew would run screaming from.
