The Glasgow Herald has half a page on this story, as it's a broadsheet that
a lot of space.

It's now cut out and in the shoe box with my other newspaper clippings re
coin and banknotes.

Further on in the Herald in the "25 years ago" spot is a story about a £50
note being issued in Scotland for the first time in over 250 years.

The new note is to feature Adam Smith, spooky!

The note was from the Clydesdale Bank. Billy
