Default postal rates of Tanganyika ?

Good morning,

Could someone tell me if I can find somewhere the postal rates of Tanganyika
(since its first occupations, the postal alliance KUT, until its
independence)?
Thank you in advance.

Bonjour,
Quelqu'un pourrait-il me dire si je puis trouver quelque part les tarifs
postaux du Tanganyika (depuis ses premières occupations, à l'alliance
postale KUT, jusqu'à son indépendance)?
Merci d'avance.

Bonjour,

This would not be a complete answer, but postal rates are frequently
printed in the interiors of stamp booklets. http://booklets.nl has KUT
booklets from 1938, 1954, and 1961, as well as an Independence booklet
from 1961. If you were to contact the proprietor and ask VERY nicely, or
offer to pay him for his research, he might be moved to open the booklets
and transcribe any postal rates listed from those four years.

Likewise, Nome Street (http://nome-street.com/) has KUT booklets from
1952, 1954, 1956, 1958, and 1961, as well as the 1961 Independence
booklet. I would suggest the same approach as the former.

Best of luck, and please share the results of your research here!
