Can anyone suggest a guestimate for the 1964
2 shilling golden whistler (broken twig variety ) please?

This example is a little grotty and hinged.

Thanks

G'day Ryan,
not washed, the item is not mine,
a lass overheard me talking about stamps at the health club,
and she wanted to give me her collection she had hanging around for years.
I always find that difficult, especially when most stamps have so little value.

Anyhows I took the album home and tried to find something of value,
but all were hinged and even an imprint block of 40x 1d qe2
were attached to the page by sellotape

I put $30 -$40 on the album and I could see she was disappointed
I pointed out the twig flaw as an example.
As far as I am concerned it wouln't get much more than $5 at auction,
the condition is far from pristine, and badly hinged.
I thought I would check with the newsgroup.

The example is good however, to indicate the position of the flaw on the sheet
as shown by the selvedge.

1998 is fine for BW, unless you are very wealthy

Thanks for your help, I'll send her a copy of your email.

My Brusden-White is getting a bit long in the tooth - a 1998 copy. It says $20 for mint never hinged (have you
washed off the gum?).
