Default 20TH Ann. SAE 3 coin set Question

Are these sets shipping already? I thought they weren't shipping until
December 8 (according to web and my receipt). I saw several that had been
graded (2-3 week turnaround?) for sale on eBay. What's up?

Thanks,

Bill

I got mine about 10 days ago, I was already seeing graded coins on
Ebay,
I got the Silver Gold Set about 4 weeks ago and 3 coin gold about 3
weeks ago.

Has me wondering when those Legacy sets will start shipping.

Mint has been shipping eary this year, espcecially those SF Gold

When I placed my first order, the ship date was listed as October 10th
(or thereabouts) - and I received that set roughly on time.

When I went back to order more on the third day they were available, the
ship date was listed as December something.

So, yes, the early orders have been fulfilled - but the bulk probably
won't go out until next month.

Hmmmm. I got an email saying the one set I ordered on 31 Aug was shipped on
30 Oct, but I still don't have it as of 4 Nov-- five days later. The email
listed two different (22-digit!!) tracking numbers, neither of which is
recognized in USPS or FEDEX tracking sites. I assume they will ship my one
set via USPS. Checking their order # simply verifies the 30 Oct shipping.
They've charged my credit card already, as well. Sigh....... I suppose a
phone call is in order on Monday. PITA!!

I had the same experience with my San Fran $5 Gold Unc. Eventually,
about a week after I got the email notification, the coin showed up in
my mailbox.

Something screwy must have happened to their package tracking system.

I'd say give it a couple more days before calling.

If you pull up the order details via the Mint's "My Account"
feature, it should list both the tracking number AND shipping
method. One of my orders, for example, shows:

# 686053510066 FEDERAL EXPRESS
# 686053747275 FEDERAL EXPRESS
# 77105499615840068710 PARCEL POST
# 77105499615850212004 PARCEL POST

(The first two being attempts to send partial shipments via
FedEx to my Post Office Box and the latter two being the
USPS Registered Mail shipments made after the FedEx shipments
were returned and I called the 800 nummer to complain ... DUH!)

A check of the My Account feature brings my Order History. Clicking on my
31 Aug 3-coin SAE order brings up a page with a tracking number link
equating to the Parcel Post # you listed. Clicking on that link brings up a
message that "There is no record of this item". Double-DUH! 1-800 time,
I guess.

None of my Registered Mail shipments from the Mint EVER
showed up in the USPS on-line tracking system before they
were delivered ... the package has to be scanned by the
USPS at pick-up for that to happen, and apparently they
don't do it for packages picked up at the Mint warehouse.

Rest assured that if there is a Parcel Post tracking
number on the Order History, you will receive a Registered
Mail package somewhere between seven and fourteen days
after the listed Ship Date ...

I made that call on Friday. The person who answered the phone
replied that they sent the item parcel post without tracking
and that I'd have to wait 30 days to file a claim. When I
asked how come they gave a tracking number if they couldn't
track the package, the answer came back "I don't know."

I'll be curious to see if you get the same story.
