This 1966 Barbie Doll is all-original and in excellent condition. I believe
this is the doll (Francine). The doll is wearing a 2-piece orange bathing
suit with a fishnet bottom. There is absolutely no damage. The doll has
blonde hair, painted blue eyes, original eyelashes (separate individual
hairs), painted eyebrows, and painted red lipstick. The doll has moveable
arms, legs, head, and waist. The doll legs can also move at the knees. They
"click" and lock in 3 positions at the knees (straight out, little bit of
bent knee, and more pronounced bend knees). All 3 positions lock firmly in
place. The doll is marked (7) on the rear left butt and marked (1966, Mattel
Inc., U.S. Patented, US Pat. Pend., Made In Japan) on the right butt. There
is a number (37) on the back of the head underneath the hair. The bottom of
the right foot is marked (Japan). The orange swimsuit has the (Barbie, By
Mattel) cloth label. The doll is wearing white high-heel shoes. The doll is
in excellent condition with absolutely no damage. All part move and function
properly.
