You have a nice pen. I would just give one note of caution: please do NOT
use a polish on the nib. The nib is not steel, but 14k gold. The silver
color is a platinum plate over the gold (the gold arrow is simply showing
through from beneath, i.e., is not plated). Anyway, it does't take much in
the way of polishing to polish off the platinum, leaving you with a much
less attractive (and less valuable) gold nib.

Hope that you enjoy the pen. I am a Vacumatic collector and I really think
highly of the pen that you found.
