Default PCGS population report needed

From the July, 2003 pop report:

headers:
Lincoln, PCGS DATE, VARIETY, DSIG, MINTAGE, MS67, 68, 68 70

data:
2767 1948-s, MSRD, 81,735,000, 746, , 93 (ms-67), 0, 0, 0 on higher

For the two year PCGS membership @ $179, you get 8 free slabs and the pop
rept, which seemed like a good deal to me.

Hello group

Could someone look up a population reports for me at PCGS? I would be

ever
so grateful... I need a pop report for a 1948-S cent in MS-67 and higher.
Email me or better yet post it here. In return, win any of my auctions

and
get free shipping.

Thanks for the info, Linda. I probably will sign up with PCGS, but not
quite yet.

Here's a neat little trick to get free PCGS pop report information. Go
to their registry sets, and look at some of the sets. All of sets have
population data next to the coins. For example, clicking on the first
one in the Lincoln set list shows that he has a 1948-S cent in MS67RD
with a population of 94 with none higher.

There's also a 4-free-slab, 1 yr for $99. It's still a chunk o' change, and
they apparently had some *REAL* deal going earlier that I somehow missed
that was a lot cheaper, but anyway, even at that, I've been really delighted
with all the things they have sent me so far, plus the online access to
information, plus the prospect of 8 free slabs for my $179. I'd never even
*seen* a population report before (no comments from the peanut gallery,
please -- I think I have made it plain I am not any kind of expert. :-) ).

Oh, you get a really nice PRF69 Walking Silver Liberty, too, which is
probably the nicest thing I own right now.

You can look at NGC's Population Report for free, as often as you want. Go
to http://www.ngccoin.com and click on Census in the top banner strip
thingie whatchamacallit..

Yes you missed the *REAL* deal going earlier. It expired on 8 July, 2003..
$25.00 for the $99.00 PCGS Gold one year membership, four free 15 day
gradings, population report access, a slabbed MS68 2003 ASE, the ANA Show
B&M Catalog 600 pages long with a CD-ROM and a (laughable) DVD, six free
months of David Hall's Inside View newsletter (value of that is
questionable).. am I leaving anything out? Oh.. yeah, a free car detailing,
a coupon good for a dime off any Banquet Frozen Dinner, a solid gold Kama
Sutra Coffee Pot, and they send someone out to wax your kitchen floor every
month..

(All of that is true except for four of those things, for the humor
impaired..) ..

a minute... Most of mine are 69's..... Oh how I love that number...

Linda.....
So... You spent $179.00 for the two year PCGS membership and you
get 8 free slabs + the (PF)-68 Silver Eagle......
On the special that some of us joined under, we spent $25.00 for
the one year membership and get 4 free slabs, (well we do have to
pay for shipping) and received a (MS)-68 Eagle...... I guess they
are worth around $12.00... At least that is what they are going for
on Ebay IF you can get a bite at that price... As for as the PF68
Eagles, I have not found even ONE for sale so I do not know the
price that it would bring... It looks like if we sold our Eagles,
then we would have spent $13.00 for the one year membership... I
think I can live with that :-)
