Contact Rich Stiles, a coin dealer listed
in coin collecting magazines. He used to sell
the bags that were late february issue from the
mint...the mostly likely to give you the double-die
variety you are thinking of.

It's a longshot that any of the bags containing error coins are still out
there.

The specialists in this area narrowed the error die down to hours and minutes
of use, and those bags were targeted. If you get any of the remaining bags,
even those purporting to be from the time period when the error die was used,
the odds that they have not been searched or ruled out as candidates are
extremely remote.
