share of Barnes and Noble stock (I see their picture still has the old
logo) for $120.00 (instead of the $45.22 plus fees it would cost from a
broker).

It may be that buying one share of Barnes and Noble stock may be more
arduous than you think. These are extremely broken lots. Placing a one
share order from your friendly stockbroker may turn her hostile. The
corporations don't like it because if they service it, they spend as
much money as they would for 10,000 shares. Even if I had the 10,000
shares, I wouldn't tell my closest friend - the shame.
