I started attending the Joplin/Tri-State Coin club in 1979 or 1980. I think
attendance would vary between 12 and 20. Stayed pretty much the same for 20
years or so, until 1999 or 2000. At that time, the club started a slow
growth, which seems to be continuing. Attendance ranges now from 35-45, and
last month was our best attendance ever, with the exception of the December
meeting, which included a dinner and typically draws the largest attendance.

Our club has been averaging 25 each month. We have to scrounge for chairs
some nights. Hope we can keep it up!
