Al Gore-global warmning hoax hypocrite-his own energy use is 20xaverage
This from the guy that wants you to drive an electric moped to work in
January, to "save the planet". Save the planet, so HE can enjoy it. http://www.snopes.com/politics/bush/house.asp Al Gore uses over $1000 in natural gas per month- hwo among us uses that much ? yet he wants US to "conserve" http://www.tennesseepolicy.org/main/...article_id=367 Al Gore’s Personal Energy Use Is His Own “Inconvenient Truth” Gore’s home uses more than 20 times the national average Last night, Al Gore’s global-warming documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, collected an Oscar for best documentary feature, but the Tennessee Center for Policy Research has found that Gore deserves a gold statue for hypocrisy. Gore’s mansion, located in the posh Belle Meade area of Nashville, consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year, according to the Nashville Electric Service (NES). In his documentary, the former Vice President calls on Americans to conserve energy by reducing electricity consumption at home. The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy. In 2006, Gore devoured nearly 221,000 kWh—more than 20 times the national average. Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh—guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year. As a result of his energy consumption, Gore’s average monthly electric bill topped $1,359. Since the release of An Inconvenient Truth, Gore’s energy consumption has increased from an average of 16,200 kWh per month in 2005, to 18,400 kWh per month in 2006. Gore’s extravagant energy use does not stop at his electric bill. Natural gas bills for Gore’s mansion and guest house averaged $1,080 per month last year. “As the spokesman of choice for the global warming movement, Al Gore has to be willing to walk the walk, not just talk the talk, when it comes to home energy use,” said Tennessee Center for Policy Research President Drew Johnson. In total, Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006. |

Doesn't he also work from his home and have a number of people working
there? Yup. It takes three to four very busy staff just to keep him sated with delicious pastries. Some say global warming is directly linked to his continuously operating bake ovens. |

On Tue, 24 Jun, William W Western said about: Al Gore-global warmning hoax ... You want us to believe that if you sit around in your ... underwear, farting and drinking beer listening to talk ... radio and reading in Reader's Digest about the climate ... of the past, that we should take your pontifications ... seriously. On the other hand, you would have us believe ... that people who make it their life's work to understand ... climatalogical variations of the past and present, who are ... actively involved in reconstructing and interpreting climatic ... records going back hundreds of thousands or millions of ... years, and in modelling and collecting and testing new data, ... can't hold a candle to your mighty intellect. Could be. ... Farkward P. Parkenfarker, 10 Jul 1996 PURE Republicanism?? It's now clear. Six years of PURE Republicanism - BOTH houses AND the Prez. Pure as it gets. So? Are you better off now than seven years ago? Are you proud with what they have done to America and her reputation? ...To your reputation? ....all the sleaze, lies and bribery? How about all the killing? ....Americans torture now? Proud? If actions speak louder than rhetoric, then name ONE good thing about Republicanism. Just one. Just one *real* thing. Can't do it? You have only feelsgood rhetoric? So? Your Republicanism more like a bad habit then? |

Just another K00k flip flop! snip Charlie's obviously regressing from simple paranoid delusions to full blown paranoid schizophrenia. They make up their reality as they go along, and he'll wind up hurting or killing somebody if he doesn't get treatment soon. |

Verizon dumps 26457 alt.* NGs, as promised
As I'd warned a couple of days ago, Usenet browsers will find, after
having their client do a directory refresh, that Verizon has indeed dumped ALL alt.* (and anything that isn't in the "Big 8") newsgroups from their servers. Time-Warner has supposedly shut down Usenet servers entirely, but I cannot verify that at this time. That's it..."anarchists-lunatics-trolls" is toast. |
