Default Incorrect Scott Numbers in 1943 Scott Stamp Album?

Does anyone know if Scott changed the early stamp numbering sometime
after 1943?

The Scott International Junior Stamp Album copyright 1943 has a few
U.S. stamps that are marked differently from what we use today.

For example, Scott #33 is actually Scott #11.

Scott #214 is actually Scott #212.

Not sure how many others might be wrong!

Thanks for any help.

Kent
