2000 & 2001 Proof Sets
I don't know if this has been discussed before, but is there a flaw in some
quarter proof sets of those years. I inspected some of the sets I purchased (the whole proof set, not just the quarters) and notice that there is no seal on the quarters half of the set. They are fogged. Yet some of the sets are just fine as is the separate quarter proof sets. Can anyone shed some light on this? |

Roger I believe these sets you described as fogged were not properly
stored. Humidity may have played a factor. The mint sets are not air tight. Ed |
