You seem a bit jealous of someone else's feedback- and you are
obviously threatened by a little friendly 8-track competition- get over
it. The thief/liar line doesn't hold any water, Frank Schoonover outed
that as false. There's no such thing as a fake quad, it's either
4-channel or it's not. If you have a quad recorder, you can make your
own quads- you have a problem with someone recording at home ? My Ebay
account if functioning just fine for the last 5 years now.

Ron,

you traded me a Wings tape that had the splice fixed with gooey tape,
and it got eaten the second I put it in the player- fortunately I was
still holding the tape, yanked it out, and fixed it myself.

my feedback speaks for itself- 1004 positive rating, from 1204
transactions- most of them are 8-track related, I invite anyone who is
reading this thread to take a look themselves

that's called Fair Use and is also protected under the Home Recording
Act- and we are talking about an OBSOLETE FORMAT for which equipment is
no longer made- we've been through this again and again- no one cares
if you dub something onto 8-track at home for hobby use

....and numerous other frauds, incluing admission that he committed
fraud against the USPS, and the alignment tape frauds. One guy in 8TH
said it best when he said that you'd have to figure, how did this
clown get so many Audiotex alignment tapes...stumble across a whole
crate of them? Of course, then Noodles ADMITS they're frauds just the
other day, saying that "we" (must be him and his pet rat) had
"improved" them...somehow. How can you "improve" a fake? It's still
a fake, and thus, worthless, especially when run off on some crappy
home machine.

I put the troll back in the kill filer where he belongs, and there's
no way he can get around it unless he changes ISPs, but we can still
see the quotes and requotes. If we all kill file him, he'll
eventually wither and die away.

Charlie, To answer your questions: 1. I'm not attacking SOMEONE, I'm
posting examples of your unrelenting, unrepentant fraudulent behavior.
2. Of course not. You are not clear on the accepted concept of Fair
Use, but you are correct about court decisions concerning copies made
for personal use. However, this does not apply to your case in which
you are not dubbing for personal/"hobby" use. You're creating copies
for public sale, fraudulently representing them as originals, on eBay.
This is all old news, and it won't change until you do. To paraphrase
yourself: When will you be man enough to be honest in your eBay

If someone makes a quad for themselves, and another person ambles
along, and likes it, and knows it's a home made tape, and offers $100
for it- you have a problem with me selling it to him ?? It you do,

A fella from California fetched several hundred for an Archies quad he
made at home- and the buyer knew full well it was a home made tape- so
your argument there holds no merit. It's simple supply and demand. If
there's a demand for home dubbed 8-track quads, it's gonna get filled
by someone. Not everyone wants to be saddled by the limited selection
of rare original quads available. And if someone takes an hour of
their time to dub one for someone, they deserve to be compensated for
it, if they so choose. The digital DTS disk guys run them off like
hotcakes and sell them for B&P or $5-10 each all the time. Are you
hassling them as well ? No, you aren't.
