eBay exposes people who need to sell and are not especially afraid

I will pay up to $2000 for one in good condition is better, but to
really deal with the condition, might mean defining the condition in a
more widely understood sense. The coin world has done this pretty
well.

A Golden Hawk in any condition for two grand? Surely you jest.

Once, in the 60s on the road between Bloomington, Indiana and
Indianapolis, riding as a passenger in a Golden Hawk we hit a deer.
The deer rolled across the hood and roof. No damage to the Golden
Hawk. Unknown damage to the deer since we couldn't find it.

They sure were nice. Really, it was an example of an impractical
suggestion. I meant to mention that my bid would be so low since I
really have no way to restore one while still in Europe. When I get
back; well perhaps.

Nick:

The absolute best site is http://vcoins.com.

VCoins started out as an Online Bourse for ancient coins and a few
years ago added the world and US
categories. It also has an associated auction site where VCoins
dealers can list coins at no additional cost:
http://vauctions.com

I would strongly recommend VCoins to any dealers that are looking for
an alternate venue. The annual fee is
VERY low and there are already thousands of customers that go to
VCoins on a regular basis. (I am an
Ancients dealer on VCoins and plan on eventually expanding to the
world category)

Best,

Alfred

Are there any central repositories of "coin links" that are worthwhile?
Perhaps a page that categorizes sites my type (trade, for sale, reference,
dealer, etc.,.)???

ARE there any coin auction pages that an average collector can list on other
than eBay? *Fixed price or offers? *Any that seem to have potential?
