Thank you for the info, Blair. Interesting stamp what concerns the
architecture of a museum. For once no glass pyramids ;-)

The Cranach-painting is most likely the Elder, I will try and find out which
one.

Interesting painting, and at any rate the first ever on stamps by this
artist.

Nice stamps, as well that of Cranach the Elder as that of Rubio.

It is surely a real joy for those art on stamp collectors who haven't
stopped their collections at the end of the last century, and continue to
stimulate through their purchase the serious PAs in their policy of issuing
nice art stamps.

Of course, I'll try to order them ASAP, even if I still haven't found how to
do it starting by the page:

This would never do! in Queensland Aust
1999.........

Youths in Australia's tropical northern state
of Queensland were set to vote this weekend on whether public breastfeeding and
foreign-language signs should be banned from their streets.
The annual conference of Queensland's Young Liberals will consider a motion
calling for on-the-spot fines for mothers who breastfeed in public.

A new page for Mette's web site, perhaps?

There seem to be various versions of the painting around
(like "The Scream"). Notice the differences to the link Mette posted:
http://www.allposters.com/gallery.as...54&item=831961
and to the one used for the stamp:
http://tinyurl.com/5utbd

a) scenery at top left in one, top right in other.
b) no child in tree vs child in tree.
c) child at left eating apple vs open hands.
d) Charity semi-standing vs sitting.
