Yea, would really be interesting to find out, WHY that person was a
inhabitant of Marly Quarantain Station! But I am afraid that will turn
out to bee somewhat difficult.

Probably innocuous Peter,
either mandatory if the author was an immigrant,
or if the ship had an infectious disease aboard,
and the person had to wait the incubation period of the disease,
prior to disembarkation.

Probably an immigrant as he/she was ashore.
It is always difficult when the name is not entirely decipherable "Andeson"?
May be linked to the addressee, a Pastor "Rev"?
Certainly educated as the script would suggest.
