Default NEXT Thursday, June 10th - L.I. Pen Club Meeting

The Long Island Pen Club will be meeting on NEXT Thursday, June 10th at
Hofstra University.

We invite fountain pen lovers (and newbies too!) from Long Island, the 5
boroughs of NYC, and we welcome people from Westchester and the
surrounding areas. If you are visiting Manhattan, we are a short ride
on the Long Island Railroad and then Hofstra provides a free shuttle
bus.

Our lecturer will be Rich Picciochi, who is a retired NYPD detective who
currently works for Miran's Pen Repairs and is a member of the L.I. Pen
Club. He will be discussing the handwriting and ink analysis that he
did as part of his forensics document examination specialty. This will
be a fascinating and informative lecture.

Directions to Hofstra science bldg. (right near the Nassau Colisseum):
The building is located on California Ave and Huntington Pl, two blocks
south of Hempstead Turnpike (heading west on Hempstead Tpke from the
Meadowbrook Pkwy, turn left just before the second pedestrian bridge).
The clear glass walled first floor conference room is near the elevator
bank. Parking is on Huntington Place adjacent to the building. If lot is
full, proceed further down Huntington place to the end of the block,
make a right turn to find a huge parking area.

Meeting is in Room 101 (Conference Room) in the Chemistry and Physics
Building. The following link has both an interactive map and a
printable map. The building the Science Bldg. on the interactive map,
and it is # 61 on the printable version.
