Default 1817 VG CORONET TYPE

I just got a type album from Larry that I'm going to start and fill, so
I've got to learn about the early coins. Looking at this auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=3032381 283

I come out with a grade of between AG and G. Am I correct? The AG
reasoning is, the rim *is* worn down into the stars, and on the G
reasoning, the date is clear and only a partial "Liberty" is showing. I do
not feel it comes even close to VG.

It's not only About Good according to the ANA standards, it's also holed and
poorly repaired or partially holed at K:12

I don't know what K:12 means, but I'm assuming you mean the spot between
the stars above the "B". I thought it was just porous. See, I do have some
schooling to do. I guess I've got more books to buy (hey Larry!)
