(RCSD) Machin question
Looking in my Machin menagrie I noticed the mint stamps with back
print are fading, Is this to be expected? I know the back print was applied on top of the gum and did not realize fading would be a factor. The "D" is much worse than the stars. Ralphael, the OLD one.

This is why so many collectors prefer postally used stamps. Gum itself
is potentially corrosive in most cases and in some definitely harmful to the stamps in the long term. .. Charlie ..
