Default Apparently, my company's vending machine operator doesn't like $2's.

A couple weeks back I was hungry for some snacks, and is not atypical
for me, all I had was a stack of two dollar bills. So, I tried it in the
candy machine bill slot, and lo! it registered up two dollars of credit.
Nifty. I bought a couple snacks, got my change, and was on my way.

Yesterday, I go back to the same machine, and try a deuce again. No go.
The machine just kept spitting it out. Intrigued, I took a walk over to
a different building that has a candy machine of the exact same model
(and same operating company, of course). Success! The machine registered
up my two dollars. But for how long, I wonder. I'll try again next week,
after the guy comes to take the cash and see if he twiddles the $2
accept off.

Both machines continue to accept Sackies, so at least he likes the
dollar coins.

When the new style $5 notes first came out I put one in a change machine at
a car wash (which took up to $20 notes in the past with no problem) and it
got recognized as a $1 note and I got 4 quarters. I was not amused.
