John Of course, the fact that many Congresscritters didn't know who was on the dime kind of shoots down the theory that their purpose for wanting Reagan on it was a political ploy to supplant the Democrat that is on it now. I think some Republican lawmakers are just trying to fumble around for some venue to honor their hero. Don't think they mean any disrespect to FDR. -- Ed Hendricks ANA# R178621 eBay: edh. |

They're too busy trying to fundraise $100 bills to use to get themselves reelected. We should all have such a job-- spending half your time at full pay either promoting yourself for a more important job or raising money to keep your same job for a few more years. The president has it best of all-- traveling around the country on my "dime" raising money to help him keep his job for another term or helping other Republicans win jobs. Bruce |

Only drug dealers would use a $500 bill. Putting Ronald "Just say no" Reagan
on a bill used primarily by drug dealers is like putting Andrew "Down with the bank" Jackson, on a Federal Reserve note! Rick "Malanutt 4 Life" wrote in message ... Who is the congressperson trying to get Reagan on the dime? Maybe I should write to them on bringing back the $500 bill, and issuing a new $200 bill with Reagan on it. What do you guys think? Think it might have a chance of gaining interest?
