Default chopmarked coins

Hi

I collect chopmarked coins, and I wonder where to find information
about this subject. The available information I can find is very
limited, almost none of these deals with the translation of the
chopmarks.

Best regards

Hi

I have bought the book, and I find very good. But still I need to find
som reference to how to translate the chops. I have tried to show my
coins to a chinese friend, but she could not make any thing out of
it.

Best regards

Erik

"Chopmarks" by F.M. Rose - I got one off ebay about a year ago:

Lots of good information and a medium sized listing of chops and their
meanings. You also get a full explanation of the Rose Rarity Scale.

The Club seems to be dead:

I'v emailed them and gotten no response. Oh well. Some info here and a
few good pictures:

My Chinese employee says the same, but she still likes to look at them.
Apparently, most of the symbols can have many different meanings and many
of them have no meaning, but were the symbol of a particular Trading
Company or assayer
