Default Strange strip

Its a 5p Mixed Value Coil strip
Possibly SG UMC1 , UMC2 , UMC3 or most likely UMC4
Each refers to different Paper/Gum combinations
First issued 15th Feb 1972
This is the only source .. not possible from booklets.
Best Wishes .. Ron Jackson

Hi all,
Placed a scan of this strip of stamps if you would like a look.

Two 1/2p, two 1p, and a 2p all in the same strip not held together
with tape but connected by the perfs. Is this odd or did some booklets
come like this ?

It's not odd, some books did come like that. Perhaps someone who has
their Deegam handy can tell you more about it.

This is the 5p se-tenant strip from the G1 and G2 `Readers Digest' coils
of 1971 to 1974. The stamps were printed in several paper/gum
combinations. The coils are listed in the new Deegam on pages A1-14 and
A1-15, the se-tenant pairs on page A10-9 etc. and the single stamps under
the three individual values.

Further to my previous post, of course these were not the Readers Digest
product. These rolls were prepared for the `G' vending machines. These
mechanisms could be varied to accept different coins but they always
dispensed a strip of 5 stamps. Leaders from G1 and G3 rolls are
illustrated on page A1-6 of the new Deegam Handbook.

Two 1/2p, two 1p, and a 2p all in the same strip held together???
Only possible from Coil Strip, not booklets.
You can find combinations of 2 values in booklets, but not all 3.
