Encapsulate Autographs?
Hey everybody:
Can you please help me? I just purchased a Civil War autograph, and I am going to have it custom matted, glazed and framed. One thing: should I have the autograph note encapsulated - i.e., professionally placed between mylar, which is then mounted inside the frame, or skip the encapsulation. Any advice you can give would be GREATLY appreciated!! |

Whatever you do, don't put it near something that will stick to it.
It must be near acid free and in the case of old stuff like that, you should go to someplace like the Antiques roadshow site and look for preservation...
