Does anyone happen to know what the thin colored plastic pieces that
slide over the fluorescent lamps is called and where replacements can
be purchased?

They are theater lighting gels. I am not sure how to get them to stay
curled up though (rubber band?). Search lighting gels. They come in
flat sheets, any color you want.

Good luck

The round ones that slip over the lamp are called " rainbow color
cylinders" or "color sleeves".They are not as popular now as they
once were. Try a well-stocked coin machine distributor or your local
juke box operator. Good luck, Ray
