Default Wurlitzer and Seeburg domain take over

I know this was posted on here in the past but I just tripped over
this myself.
I typed in WWW.SEEBURG.COM only to find myself on the Wurlitzer site.
So what's the big deal?
Well, obviously the folks that had purchased the rights to seeburg had
a ton of problems and were under investigation and it's not a surprise
that they disappeared. So it's not totally unexpected that the domain
may have come onto the marketplace. It's also not unexpected that
someone would jump on it and buy it. What is unexpected is that the
person or COMPANY in this
case that bought it has no intention of using it for SEEBURG
enthusiasts. Instead it appears to have been purchased to redirect
those interested in SEEBURG to WURLITIZER.
I think this is low.....very low
As far as I could tell, there is not one BIT of seeburg information on
their site, no links, no company history, nothing. No explanation,
nothing.
Of course it's a free market and the domain came up and they purchased
it as they had every right to do. It's a small community of Jukebox
collectors out there and this doesn't sit well with one of them...how
about you?

That occurred some time ago. Yes, it is sneaky. I suppose that whoever
actually owns the rights to seeburg could claim trade mark violation
because wurlitzer is using seeburgs name to make money.

I have no idea what the legal status of the seeburg intellectual
property is though. Anyone else know?
