Cabbage Patch Doll
Hi. I'm investigating the value of my doll because, like many others,
we've fallen on difficult financial times due to layoffs. I have a "never removed from the box" Cabbage Patch boy doll. The box says 1985 on the front and the boy's name is John Andy. I can see the doll's birth certificate through the plastic front. He has a jogging suit on with number 31 on the front of the shirt and he has light sandy brown looped hair, blue eyes, and is Caucasian. I've been advised to look on the doll's butt for information, but I don't want to take him out of the box since it's never been opened. He's still fastened into the box with his wire twisty. He's made by Coleco. I happened to grab 2 at one of those free-for-alls in the early 80s and I gave one to my daughter and just put this one away in a sealed bag for "later." I don't really like the E-bay process. Can someone suggest another way? Can someone help me with valuation? |
