Default Lithuania Mixed Franking

I have a cover, sent to me from Lithuania on 13th April 1992, franked with
both Soviet and Lithuanian stamps. The cover as such is pre-paid, and
appears with a Soviet definitive (Scott # 5733) of 50 K, and is further
franked with 5 Lithuanian stamps (Scott # 415).

The transitional currency Talonas was introduced on 1st October 1992, so I
suspect that Soviet stamps were finally abandoned by that date, but haven't
been able to find any confirmation about this. Do any of you know of a
website or other source giving such information?

Thanks to everyone who has answered here and to me privately.
I have received a number of options that are now being tried
out, and I will post the final result here when available.
