So, my assessment is that leaving feedback for buyers is pointless but harmless, just another quirk of human nature. James As an E-bay buyer only, I can tell you that a pleasant experience, including feedback, is much more likely to cause me to be a repeat customer. It's the same with real bricks and mortar businesses: if I'm treated decently, I'll come back. If the merchant is rude or indifferent, I'll go elsewhere. I think that's a good way to look at it.
